Bella Vista is at a crossroads.
We're the second fastest-growing city in Arkansas. That growth can be shaped by the people who live here — or by outside investors who don't. I'm running to make sure it's us.
Every decision the Council makes should pass one test: does it serve the people who actually call Bella Vista home, and can we sustain it for the long haul? That's stewardship — taking care of what we've been given, and handing it on better than we found it.
What I'll fight for
Residents first.
Growth is welcome — but it has to serve the people who live here, not out-of-town investors treating our neighborhoods as a spreadsheet.
Managed, not uncontrolled.
We can welcome new neighbors without surrendering the character that made us want to live here. That means holding developers to a real standard and never letting extra tax revenue do our thinking for us.
Enforce what we've written.
Why have a code if we won't enforce it? I'll get ahead of problems instead of waiting for complaints — because rules that only apply sometimes aren't really rules.
A neighbor, not a politician
I'm a lifelong Arkansan. I built a technology company here in Northwest Arkansas, raised three daughters with my wife Tonya, and I spend my weekends helping preserve this town's history through the Bella Vista Historical Museum. I'm not a career politician — I'm a neighbor who wants to see Bella Vista grow up without losing what makes it worth calling home.
